This Privacy Policy applies to both the OTPplug website (otpplug.com) and the OTPplug mobile app, and explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website or app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
To provide our services (virtual numbers, permanent number rentals, email rentals, social media account marketplace, and social media marketing/boost services), we collect:
We use the information above to: create and maintain your account; process wallet funding and purchases; deliver the numbers, accounts, rentals, and services you order; send you account, security, and order-status notifications; detect and prevent fraud or abuse; provide customer support; and improve our website and app.
Your OTPplug wallet balance can only be used to pay for services within our platform (numbers, rentals, accounts, and boost orders) — we do not support withdrawing or cashing out your wallet balance to a bank account, card, or any external payment method. Because of this, we never collect bank account or payout details from you; the only payment data we handle is what's needed to fund your wallet in the first place, described below.
When you fund your wallet, your payment is handled directly by our payment partners — Paystack, Korapay, and, for cryptocurrency payments, NOWPayments. We do not receive or store your full card number, bank login details, or crypto wallet private keys — these are handled entirely by the payment processor, and we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded along with the amount.

We only share the minimum information these partners need to fulfil your order (such as the phone number or link you're ordering for) — we do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
Our website uses cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. Most browsers let you disable cookies, but doing so may prevent some parts of the website from working correctly. The mobile app does not use browser cookies.
We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active. Financial transaction records may be retained for up to 12 months after account deletion where required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance, and are anonymized where possible. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. Full details on what gets deleted, retention timelines, and how to submit a request are on our dedicated Data Deletion page. Note that any remaining wallet balance is forfeited on account deletion and cannot be refunded, since balances cannot be withdrawn.
Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including hashed passwords and secure payment processing through licensed third-party processors. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the app.
